Been a while since I listened to this one. It was always one of my favorites from Death. Their early stuff is a little simple, and the later albums leaned more prog - this one was a good balance between the two styles.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

A lot of people hate The Eagles for whatever reason(s). Probably because it's "the cool thing to do." I've never given a crap about falling in line with what the herd thinks about anything. I'm no Eagles fanboy, but they made several good songs. A few were great songs.
This 2013 remaster of the original 1979 song is the best version of it I could find on YouTube.

I feel you Jim, I only know a handful of people that like my musical tastes. Which, I guess I can understand haha! But, I've always loved coming across another metal head. I was lucky to have 2 teammates I played high school football with that liked it too, so we warmed up together!

James McMurtry has been writing good songs for years. He just keeps getting better. Here's a couple from his latest album.

Rick,
Isn't it great when you find 'kindred souls' who have shared interests in common with you? I know a few people in my life who share some of my interests, but I know that most of my biggest interests and tastes in things are not shared by "most" people I am likely to meet. No one in my family, and none of my relatives, share any of my same interests. Except maybe my older brother and I share some musical interests in common.
