I've been having a difficult time trying to find these in stock at any of the normal places I check out. Some sellers on ebay have them available but the prices aren't comfortable for me.
It's kinda fun to be on the hunt though.
Check out "buddafucco's" recommendations at near the bottom of page 117. Or just before this post. He's been spot on in his information of dealers who have them in stock as we speak.

And I totally agree with your assessment of ebay sellers>> I bailed on them quite some time ago. With so many counterfeits floating around I would rather not bargain hunt at this stage of the game.

So it does have washers, they're just integral :winking-tongue
this is probably my favorite feature on these.
It is a neat knife inside. It is very tight inside too.

Seeing this thread on a daily basis finally broke down my “don’t need this knife” resistance. I called the SFO and lucked out. They had two SE, and I asked for the one with better serrations. The wife will likely be upset when it arrives, but it’s now or never for this knife!

Lol, I kept seeing it, I really wasn't interested in it. I saw the knife a few times at the SFO and didn't really do more than look at it fairly quickly. I finally said let me hold it on one of my "lets see what they have" visits and that was it, I needed one. I'm glad I got one, you will too.

Sounds like I could have written this word for word. I've learned it's ALWAYS better to ask for forgiveness! ;)

I'm hoping that New Graham will get some more of these and I'm quite sure they will. They have been my "Go -To" dealer for some time now.

I'm sure that everyone that really wants one bad enough will be able to obtain one. I also believe that the serrated version will sell just as fast as the plain edged version will. The demand for the serrated version of this C-60 Ayoob Sprint Run has really surprised me. I thought the demand would be good but it's been far better than I've even imagined.

Oooo I like this a lot.

Only nit pick is the edge angle. 24/26 according to my goniometer. Could definitely be lower (it IS sharp despite the obtuse angle). Otherwise flawless. Very well put together, very nice fit and finish.

Got mine today. Is the second Ayoob I’ve owned and is even better than I remembered. Wish I hadn’t sold the first one in a moment of weakness.

Thanks to the community here and to Spyderco for making this happen. And thanks to David at knifeworldwv.com for the incredibly fast shipping. I ordered it Friday night and was surprised to receive it this morning (Monday).

It seems like virtually everyone so far likes this 2022 Sprint Run of the C-60 Ayoob better than the 2002 original or the 2011 Sprint Run. And you're speaking to a guy who loved the 2011 Sprint and a guy who would have been happy with a repeat of the 2011 Sprint Run. And they didn't offer the 2011 version in SE.

With this new Sprint Run the grip is better, the blade steel is totally superb by comparison and personally folks I even love the gray color.

I'm so glad and deeply satisfied that most of you guys really like this new C-60

Thank you for your tireless effort in bringing this back for one more run, and for enthusiastically promoting it.

I might have missed out on this gem.

That's probably what my stock edge was too. Easy to set the edge to what I wanted.

And Zrow that's the main reason I did this>> is because there are so many of you guys who are Spyderco purists that never got the chance to check out the C-60 Ayoob model first hand. I wanted many of you newer guys on the Forum and in the knife world to see what a marvelous and genius design the C-60 is in real life.

For you guys who actually plan on using it I can't wait to hear your input on how that knife does with daily cutting chores. Especially in outdoor activities.

I've had this for a week now and it's been with me to Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island for work. I've been using it in my daily construction job. It's stripped wire with ease, it's been shredding up cardboard and cutting zip ties and lightly notching aluminum and it still looks brand new. I did flush out the pivot when I got it, but other than that I haven't cleaned or treated it. I suppose that more obtuse blade edge lends itself to taking a bit of a beating, topped off with the beautiful CPM CRUWEAR steel. I've also been spydie and standard flicking it any time I don't need a second hand. It's so much fun! It's weird beauty at its finest. Save for a smudge here and there, she remains unscathed.

Out of the blue request - could anyone post a comparison pic of the Ayoob with a PM2, Shaman, and/or Manix 2? Thanks!

No Manix. But threw a military in for comparison.
