Outdoor time + pool time = Pac Salt
Watch out kids, don't step on the knife in the pool.

Wife is back at work this week and my son’s school doesn’t start until next week. Fortunately, I make my own schedule, so he is coming to work with me. He wanted to bring his Spyderco too.

It's been a very dry summer so far but fortunately a rainy day has set in, and I'm quite happy about it. Been carrying my K390 Para 3 as much as possible lately but today S110V is the appropriate choice.

Ahh.. used to want that watch soo badly. Managed to overcome that urge eventually, but with this picture you might have thrown a spark to that fire again…

Great eye for composition and colors, as always!

Native 5, I'm not warming up to this guy for some reason.
native-rs.jpg
I’m not surprised.
Give it some time is all I can say.
I was quite disappointed when I first received my Native 5 salt. Nearly flipped it before even giving it a fair shot.
Fast forward a couple of years and I still own it. And I’ve added a S90V/CF. It’s a strange relationship we’ve formed though. Like a couple that always get into arguments, but can’t break up.
The ergonomics are a bit wonky and the FRCP on the LWs takes a minute to get used to, but the performance is addictive. The salt gets a ridiculous amount of pocket time. The blade shape, grind, grip options, weight, lock up.. it’s all there if you can look past what can be very obvious turn-offs for some.

I hope you guys don't mind me posting two pictures. I wanted to show a clear one of my old school Endura, and also one of it on top of a pile of blackberry shoots that I cut with it this afternoon. They will quickly invade your yard/property here in the Pacific Northwest if you don't stay heavily on top of them. The serrated Endura cuts them better than anything I've found so far.
