Good to see another 'Makita guy' around here. Nice knife too.
Nice! 100% of my 18 volt tools are Makita now, all my routers are Makita, oscillating tools, 7 inch grinder, pretty much all my electric tools. Still running dewalt miter and table saw just because I like their big saws better. Air nailers are Hitachi.

I used to run all Dewalt 18 volt stuff, but they started breaking too fast for me.

Still using my old Rolair for my bigger compressor, but I have a Makita compressor now too that I’ve been impressed with.

Went for a 50-mile bike ride, mostly gravel with some pavement thrown in. My favorite knife for this stuff is the UKPK Salt. Light and it doesn't mind hanging out in a sweaty bike jersey pocket for hours on end. I actually rinsed it off after this ride, which is a luxury it hasn't gotten for a while.

Today I'm rocking a Para 3 frankenstein (DLC coated S45VN blade and black hardware and liners of the latest base model with the grey scales from the Maxamet variant), my old Spydie Chef because I still see no need to use the new one and the wildcard of the day is the Amalgam. Why 3? Your guess is as good as mine. Can't ever have enough is my usual answer.

I switched out the scales on my Hap40 Delica wharnie from the Thunderstorm Kevlar to a set of TeroTuf scales I had on PE Lil Matriarch. I love the way the Kevlar scales look but the brass wire in them keeps poking out which isn't comfortable in hand and really not comfortable IWB! The TeroTuf in contrast are about as comfortable as it gets.

Took quite a while to get my Kevlar and brass scales worn enough to keep from getting poked. Not ideal to get jabbed cuasing you to drop the knife (happened)....love the way they look though.
