I think it'll go quick. The Shaman is a great knife, and this is a compelling combo.

Hey Scoob! Welcome to the forum!
It would be fun if we knew how many they made. I don't know how long it will last, but I know the Z-Wear Shaman never lasted more than half a day at the retailers all the way until the last one was gone. My guess is 1hr 6min if their site doesn't crash.

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
I hope they go quickly, so as to minimize my temptation for getting one. This does seem like an especially nice variant, but I already have a Shaman and convincing myself that I don't need another one is requiring way more will power and mental gymnastics than it should haha.. I need to just stay away from internet connected electronic devices tmrw morning haha.. Good luck to all those who are after one!

After a lot of thought I decided I'm likely to pass as well. I've already got 2 Shamans (4V and Rex45) and 2 other Spyderco's in M4...I feel you Rick, I'm going to try to be busy at work during that drop!

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
It’s a tough call without knowing how many were made. It could be a five minute sellout or a five hour sellout. Regardless of how many were made, I think under a six hour sellout is a guaranteed lock but maybe I’m being too generous.
To that point if I had to be specific I’m guessing well under an hour, 23 minutes to sellout. I was originally thinking under 5.5 minutes to sellout but changed my mind. I’m still expecting a quick sellout though.
I’ll be passing on this one as well. So far I’ve focused on collecting only the Shaman sprint runs and not concerning myself with the Shaman exclusives. Also, I’m planning to buy a new fishing reel soon and this Shaman would get in the way of that.

I too am out. If it was a week earlier, I would have bought it. Got a new bike, and if I want to stay married, I better skip this one.

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
I'm banking on the possibility that a lot of people's bank account are dry and that all of their stimulus money were used already. Because the last few Hinderer XM-24 and CRK Sebenza drops didn't sell out immediately.
Not to mention those couple of PM2 exclusives and other Spyderco exclusive that are still available.
So my best guess is probably in 1-2 hours after the initial drop. Since it's a really great combination of steel and handle material, and it's been awhile since a Shaman exclusive or Sprint.

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
$245 for M4 and Micarata is a HARD pass. No doubt it'll sell out though. Hate playing the run to put in cart and complete order game as well. Besides I have plenty of knives, and probably half dozen M4 ones of similar size, etc...
Ti, CF or similar type scales with little more exotic(less common) steel would be more fair price point IMHO. Shaman didn't really feel right in my hand either way. Just saying would be more interested for that price with better materials.

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
I was all in on this, but now I’m not so sure after thinking in this for a while. I keep asking myself what can a Shaman do for me that my Caribbean won’t. Especially since my Caribbean is a top 3 all time favorite knife for me.
I feel like for what I would use a Shaman for, I would rather use one of my fixed blades that I would already have with me in that situation anyway.
Maybe I’ll wait and see if they stick around for a few hours like others have stated.
