Stretch 1 being among my top two or three folders ever made... and I do like SE, but THESE serrations look really "snaggy" - ?!

It's kind of hit and miss. The curve of the serrations isn't my favorite but the blade is ground thinner than most so it still slices great. I screwed this one up with a diamond rod years ago and have been working on reprofiling it on a Sharpmaker, they're getting better. This knife was really the big eye opener for me regarding SE/FFG.

Yes, the blade of the Stretch 1 (and I assume Stretch 2 too? Can´t recall, though I owned two "regular" and one straight spine Stretch 2) feels noticeable thinner and slicier than on many other otherwise similarly looking Spydies - especially in the front part (of the blade).

/ I felt that on your pics the "spikes" between the serrations look rather (too) pointy, but could be wrong of course.
I actually sold my combo edge Stretch 1 - partly because I felt that the serrations were really "snaggy" and not like rounding them of myself (I certainly would have done so with a FULLY SE Stretch 1 though!. Never found one so far though for an at least remotely reasonable price, and the Stretch 1 generally works great in a coarse plain edge too anyway. Though I´d still prefer it in a good SE).

Part of what you might be seeing is the top shoulder of the serrations look even more spikey than usual because I really screwed them up with a diamond file. This was one of the knives I learned to sharpen SE on.
