The more time passes, the more I'm tempted.

Edit : Non-coated m4 ? Pass for me unfortunately.

No news yet, just little old me pining away for this knife. It’s gonna be killer!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I am in on this one after some debate. I've seen enough pics that I think I wont be disappointed in the Shaman.

I'm in on this, even though all my BHQ exclusives are DLC.

Are those scales from Pavel Shiskin (Knife Custom Garage)?

No, but it’s a good sign that they have an example in hand.

Not that I've seen, but I agree it does at least seem like they have a production sample so they may just be waiting for shipping to get them all in hand first. I'm sure they also schedule releases like this around other brand/model releases so it's less chaotic on their end, this will no doubt be a feeding frenzy.

I'm thinking that the "5/5!" In the message under the IG video looks out of place and might be an announcement date or possible drop date. Definitely take that with a grain of salt but you never know.

Not to mention, those micarta models just melt into your hand! Don't hear many people say the Shaman isn't ergonomically great, but contoured micarta brings it to the next level.

I'll add the Manix to the mix as well for size reference.

Thanks for the Manix refence. I recently bought a Manix and didn't like it as much as my PM2. They look the same size but the Manix feels much bigger in the pocket and when closed. Is the Shaman comparable to the Manix in the pocket and closed, as they have the same blade shape?

Love the Shaman, love M4, love micarta, absolute great user knife, and for close to the same price as a regular Shaman after price updates for 2022. Sold, I just hhope they don't spring some crap so only flippers with macros and autonotifications can buy.

I can't speak to the G-10 Manix, but I have a Manix LW and agree it's a bit of a pocket hog.

I think the Shaman carries a lot like a heavier PM2. It feels much better in-hand than the Manix for me, but that's a whole 'nother debate.

I agree with Ken here. The Manix does take up more pocket space, and the Shaman is definitely similar in pocket to a heavier PM2.

I will also not touch the Manix/Shaman ergonomics debate haha!
