What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I just used mine cutting bailing twine for hay.

J, he’s a bloody menace. Fussy as and expects three meals a day.

Rev, I’m genuinely surprised we export Roo to the US. I imagine it wouldn’t be too easy to find over there and I wonder what it would cost compared to you local meats.
Anyhow, I don’t eat it and it’s surprising how many people do and actually like it.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Seemed real beefy to my taste buds, but a little tougher.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Today was a 5-Spyderco kind of day:
AM ukpn carry and used to cut up fruit as part of breakfast.
Mid-day SE N5 lw while tending to common space maintenance (heavy gage weed eater line is a tricky cut with only two hands…the self-trim feature wasn’t working)
Afternoon alcyone carry while running errands…cut open a bunch of bags and such, as well as some vacuum seal bags.
Evening nakiri/buncho for dinner prep!

Botched one of the wire-ends removing a broken 3-speed switch from my ceiling fan.. used my workbench beater as an impromptu wire-stripper.. successful project!

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
been carrying my Endura 4 (grey handle) for over a month now I think (except trail runs).
Great knife
Used it this morning to:
- cut up banana & cucumber peels for compost/worm bin
- cut bottom of tea bags open - for compost bin
- cut top off of two coffee packets/sachets for my morning coffee that went so well with my 'overnight/cold soak' oats: (1/4 cup), nuts(1/4 cup), prunes(5), and chia(2 Tbsp), with a pinch of mortons lite salt, pinch of cayenne, pinch of ginger, and pinch of home made pumpkin spice
- trim all the english ivy vines (there was quite a lot) off the half dozen trees in my side yard,
- field dress & butcher a squirrel
all before 0800 this morning :-) and I work nights
now off to run errands on my bicycle and enjoy more of this grate day before heading in to work
u.w.

Was rolling down a quarter pipe getting setup for a nollie bigspin over a hip when my wheels suddenly felt funny.
Stopped and checked it out and a tiny nail had embedded itself in my skateboard wheel.

Pried it out with my Chief, then went and nailed the nollie bigspin.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
With my xhp Native Chief I opened and cut up a bunch of boxes at work. At home I diced onions and garlic for dinner. On the dog walk I sat down whittled on a stick.
Starting out with a Dragonfly 2 I now rarely carry a knife with less than 3 inches of cutting edge.

I used an Elmax PM2 to open packages containing 2 NRA paddles and 2 NRS Ion PFDs. Good times ahead!

Used my Spydiechef to make sandwiches. I would buy the Spydiechef XL in an instant. A longer blade will be so handy in the kitchen.
