Interesting as I think the lil native is great without the jimping. The natives all have great ergos that lock into the hand as is.

Same here, I much prefer it without jimping and would really prefer that it stay that way. I was actually partly disappointed to see that the FRN Lil Native prototype did have jimping. I hope it’s only going to be featured on the FRN model and doesn’t make its way to the G10 modes. Maybe that will be enough to satisfy those they want jimping on the Lil Native.

Definitely, although I think Rex 45 suits it better.

I think there was a Rex45 burnt orange G10 sprint already. I don't think they can run those twice once it's stopped.
A burnt orange lil native LW would be cool ^^ in like 2024.

Too bad, rex 45 is a great steel for a hard-use knife like that (supposedly more resistant to chipping and rolling, at least as hard as Spyderco treats it). I may pick one up on the secondary, but they're hard to get for a reasonable price.

I have a lil native in rex 45, it is a great steel very tough and extremely sharp. What i dont like is unlike my k390 dragonfly and pm2 the rex 45 lil native has been spotting. Little orange dots all over, most wipe off but there are 3 i cant even polish off. k390 has been better for me even when neglecting oil for a few weeks. I would love a k390 lil native and m390. those have been the two steels i have been enjoying most.
Still carry my rex 45 lil native because i love the lil native and i do own it might as well use it even if it does spot, whatever.
