I vote for dark red, almost maroon, or a dark blue, something subdued but still different from black.

Thanks Sal!

YES! blue Delica's I'll buy three, 2 for me (plain + serrated) and one for my girlfriend, in the absence of a blue handled Matriarch.

For new colors, I too think a dark blue or dark red would be best.

I think the dark blue is good as well as the red color, just stay away from that teal on the Dyad Jr.- didn't like that one.

Hi Sal-

I'd also agree with those who suggest orange for the Endura since lots of fire/rescue/boat types carry the Endura.

I'm also thinking maybe desert tan, forest green or a dark blue. These colors will match a lot of uniforms and are subdued yet attractive. (I'm assuming the Delica will be a lighter shade of blue like the 'Everest' Delica.)

Thanks for the chance to suggest!

Sal,
Just wondering if all this response could maybe warrant the release of some colored handles soon?<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Hi Chris (CJF). When you sat soon, what does that mean to you (or other forumites)?

I reality, little can happen in less than 90 days after the "go ahead" is given. Add QC & shipping (another 15 - 30 days) and that is soon.

Ok I vote for a wide array of colors for the endura. Red,blue, olive drab. But I also would like to say that a red Native with the volcano grip would be very cool to own.

Purely from a unique standpoint, a white handled Endura with a silver clip would be cool.

Practically, orange would be great. There are certain things the sheepsfoot blade on my Rescue just can't do. And high-visibility for SAR and fire activities would make me happy.

As an aside, if I recall correctly, wasn't Ernie Emerson going to release the Commander in a series of different color handles? Desert sand, green, and black? All I see advertised these days are black. Did he ever do production, and if so did the color-handled models go bye-bye due to lack of demand?

While a rainbow of Spydies would be nifty, got to support Sal's decisions when it comes to revenue based on widescale ELU demand (even if it is black).

I would have to say that red is out. We have reserved red for trainers, except for the Ladybug. We wouldn't want to0 use that color on a "live" blade.

Sal, about this next run of blue delica's. Will this be a limited run or part of regular future runs. In other words, will I have to preorder, check the forums regularly, or don't worry as there will be suffucient opportunity to get them? Thank you in advance.
