Spyderco Knives in Cinema

#1

Post by burlyspyder »

Has anyone consolidated sightings of Spyderco's in movies/TV? I am part of another forum that does something similar, and has a running sticky that lists all sightings of their firearms on screen. Kind of neat idea.

Anyway, I was watching Lost and noticed Locke had a couple Spydies and thought of this...

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

I thought this was going to be a thread about fidgeting with knives while at the movies. Which I've definitely done.

That's some list. I could only think of one or two offhand.
I certainly have nothing to add to that.

I saw Training Day at the theater. When Denzel Washington pulled out his SE SS Police model, in my mind I thought about standing up, pulling my SS Police from my pocket (which I coincidentally carried a lot back then), opening it and screaming, "THAT'S MY KNIFE! THAT'S MY KNIFE!"

Of course, I didn't.

Are you by chance into metal music? The "Hails to xxx" thing is done mainly by other metalheads, I have seen.

Such a great movie! One of those movies, that when I see it on the guide I normally start watching it...no matter what point in the movie it's at. There's only a small handful like that for me, but that movie is one of them.
