I say take the Native III, and put a lanyard on it to clip to a belt loop via carabiner. Then Native III's handle will be better if you have to do any work with the folder because the design will help avoid hand fatigue better. Even though you have small hands, extensive cutting/work can exploit the thinness of then handle. The lanyard attached to your belt loop is because you'll probably be pretty active throughout the weekend, and thus have more distractions taking away from knife security. Also you probably won't be in an environment where you'll need the faster draw which a secured lanyard would possibly prevent. And the 50/50 choil gives you more options.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

i'll second everything he said! :D :D

the native is certainly the most comfortable spydie for frequent use, and a great choice for all-around use outdoors.

whenever i'm outside, especially if i know i'm going to be around water... i tie my spydies to my belt. saved me a lot of trouble more than once.

I'll *third* ghostrider.

The wide blade will track better and the handle width *may* prove an asset. However, you could not go wrong with either the Native or Delica. ;)

God bless and be safe

yeah, i was leaning towards the native, but figured id get your opinions on it. i cant make my own decisions any more i guess. its now a forum matter for every ocasion.
so what socks should i wear? anyway i am taking my surefire A2 wh for my patrol light at night, should be able to turn a few heads w/ it. if nothing else ill be the instructor w/ the coolest gear at the kamp eh? take care all, and i will see you when i return.
GS

Ghostrider, i will definately make a special lanyard for this ocasion. somthing quick to tie but effective. i think a double noose, i know i know, the lanyard knot is so much better, but i cant tie one without using the link you provided, and if the kids ask how to make a lanyard i wont be able to do it. haha im so untalented. im throwing a princeton tech pulsar on the lanyard too, just because i love them.
