Red: The nice line for the downhill part of the tour.

...
I like these aesthetics! My knife preferences sometimes differ from this fella’s, but once I heal up my knees I might have to jump the pond and go skiing with him!

You will have to do that indeed! :smlling-eyes

"This fella" will gladly be your host and show you around our great mountains - and I think I may say that I am one of the locals who knows really well where the good skitouring and powder skiing is - including many very "secret places", not to be found in any guide book.

Your post made me recall that forum brother Enactive also thought about coming over here for wild skiing. Actually found his post from like three years ago, here is my reply to that (link) - including some pics (scroll down for those) of one of my favorite lines with skiers (click the pics to enlarge and then again for enlarging even more) https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.ph ... 3#p1314152

Hope your knees will heal up fast!

/ Apologies for going off topic, but I think in this particular thread this is ok sometimes..

I had been using my K390 endela exclusively for a solid few months

Took out my Cruwear Native today but not before a quick and efficient sharpening

Made me remember what I love about both Cruwear and the Native

Got it so sharp that later that day I cut myself a little by accident and only noticed because of a little bleeding

And the Native is hands down the smoothest back lock I own. It literally glides open and close but keeps the self close that I enjoy.

I may keep it in pocket for a while

The Stovepipe of course… what else? We’re still on our honeymoon 🥰

Although I cheated a little by purchasing the new Kizer “Original Black” recently but haven’t carried it yet so it’s not really cheating, is it? 🤔

After skitouring (with the Salt 2 in pocket) six days in a row I figured my legs need to rest today... what could be better then than hangig out in the woods and having fun with blades.. or more precisely: Mostly THROWING blades... ;)
Endura in pocket, no need to throw it though. Quite some alternatives with me for that..

Oh man, I can only imagine having that much S90V in my back pocket ! This would fuse to my pants from being there so much !

For me, S35VN G10 Native, it's just so classy it took over the SpydieChef instantly.
The Chef gets used, but the N5 gets carried.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.
