Dan, I heard this song, thought about my chipped teeth, the scar under my right eye, the time my jaw was wired shut for eight weeks, nights in the cells ... and cracked up laughing cause it works out I too am a winner. Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha!

After 46 years, Boz Scaggs’s Silk Degrees is still one of my all-time favorite albums. I got my copy when I was 13 years old. I think I’ve already posted a few of the other songs from this album, some time back. I like every song on the album.

I had previously mentioned somewhere that my only real celebrity crush was Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles, back in the late’80s/early ‘90s. But I must have forgotten that before that, I had a thing for Irene Cara, back in the early ‘80s.

ImageChrissie Hynde of the Pretenders is one of my fave female rocker vocalists . Early albums were great first one Nick Lowe helped producing which I think gave the album more kick and growl . Dan

Absolutely.

I think my favorite Pretenders song is Back on the Chain Gang.

IMO, The Moody Blues remains one of the underrated bands, even though they scored some mega-hits, especially Nights in White Satin. This is the full version, which I’ve always preferred over the shortened version. It’s epic to the point of feeling like you’re listening to a mini-movie.

Although my favorite Moody Blues song is probably The Voice.
