If I worked in a warehouse cutting boxes all day, this is the type of knife I'd opt to use to show off and flex to all of my coworkers who were using cheap, flimsy plastic box cutters.

That said, does anyone have any leads for vacant warehouse openings in their area? lol
LOL at $420 all your coworkers will assume you sell a little something something on the side or married rich.
How badly do you secretly want one of these knives? For someone who claims to dislike so many things about the knife, you sure do pay a lot of attention to it. :eye-roll

With all due respect, you’ve made your opinions clear and that’s fine but continuing to mock those that do enjoy this knife is just unproductive.

I have seen many cool chop jobs, but taking out all the corners and edges kind of kills the uniqueness of it for me. It may well be more practical that way though.

I think it looks great, but I would never have the nerve to do that to an expensive Spyderco. Can we see a closed pic?

Warehouse jobs don't necessarily pay low you know. I do pretty ok myself, and not to brag (or sound insane) but also have a handful of knives in that price range I use at work.

That said, this knife would definitely draw some attention and create conversation. I'd love to check one of these out for a few days. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

Ok, to be fair - I must admit that it does look real nice. And no, I would not have the guts to do this. Clean job.

I dig the skinny scales, but I personally would have kept the rhino horn on the blade, as it makes the knife stand out among numerous other cleaver-style designs.

Fair enough, but my personal custom would be skinny blade and fat handle.

Speaking of custom versions, these are two versions that David Rydbom offered recently (some very hefty markups IMHO).

Also, completely off-topic - for the first time ever, I received a notice while logging in tonight that I had exceed my number of login attempts and had to solve a captcha in order to get in. I have not signed in for a couple of days... Has that happened to anyone else? Does that imply someone other than me has been trying to access my account?

I stay logged on as well, so I haven't encountered that issue on this site.

I have gotten similar warnings though on other social media platforms. I just try to adhere to established security protocols. Don't know if it's possible to find out if someone is deliberately trying to access your account, or if it's just some malevolent program trawling the web for weak log in credentials.

I have no idea either. It could definitely be something like that, or maybe a password hack program. I don't know enough about this stuff.

This looks amazing
A false edge on the front portion and make it an XL version and you have something even more amazing. What do you all say to an XL version with a 3.75” blade?

I just saw this thread. Not a knife design I would normally want, but I really want one. That is one really great looking knife!

Wow!!! More than double the price for a regrind?!? That’s insane, unjustifiable, laughable… the list goes on.
