Appeal to bring back the stunning Titanium UK Pocket Knife
Re: Appeal to bring back the stunning Titanium UK Pocket Knife
I also live in a state where I can carry any type of blade. But I also have fondness for traditional folders so the the whole slip it line really speaks to me. I now have 2 UKPK's and an urban and am on the waiting list for the HH UKPK (heck even bought the Byrd version). I think these are a great platform for all kinds of upgrades from steel to scales. In fact, I was looking at my noble raffir Chapparal and thought the scales would look so cool on a UKPK. So long answer to say this model has wider appeal than just areas where legalities influence knife selection and Ti is a missing niche in my collection.

I’d throw my hard earned cash at the mention of a M390 UKPK with bento blue colour scales. Bring it back with titanium scales I’ll have two...... please Sal make it so.

Saw this poll over on blade forums & I wanted to throw my money on the table if you ever make another ti UKPK!

That's two at least for a UKPKTiMC.

I wouldn't want to miss out on a UKPKTiMC.
Part of me feels that the special editions should stay as they were though. S30V is perfectly good.
Would would be the difference in cost between 30 and MC?
Would it be worth the extra money?

It would be fine by me. I'd find a way to buy one if it were not too godawful expensive.

A UKPKTiMC sounds expensive, but also like a knife, that is close to perfection. Add the hardware from the salt model and washers to make it even better. All this would make super close to perfection. I would buy one.

52100 would be fun as a "modern traditional"
Re: Appeal to bring back the stunning Titanium UK Pocket Knife
I have the Lil' Native slippie on order, I'd love to add a ti UKPK as well. I would already own a UKPK if they were still available in G10. (I have FRN folders and they are great...as tools. G10 and titanium scaled knives are better as knives I like to carry and use.)
I don't want to derail this thread, but I'd easily purchase a ti scaled Lil' Native slipit as well! And I'll also add, Magnacut in everything as well.

I made an account here just to sign my support onto this appeal. The UKPK is such a fantastic and underrated knife, I'd love to see the Ti model come back. I also think the UKPK is deserving of more different models/sprints. I don't even live in a restricted area, but the drop-point BD1N UKPK is in my pocket most days. It's that good.

Re: Appeal to bring back the stunning Titanium UK Pocket Knife
I have one.
For a long time, it was my most expensive Spydie. I just had to have it and bought it from the mothership at MSRP.
FRN UKPK users, be warned, the Ti UKPK has some heft.
I do not favor smooth metal handles, but this one does not slip in my oily-ish hand.
I’d be all over a new Ti version if offered in 52100 or MagnaCut. But I suspect the cost of materials will kill the idea of a new Ti UKPK.

THIS IS AWESOME!

Re: Appeal to bring back the stunning Titanium UK Pocket Knife
As an UK resident, Ti UKPK would be the perfect knife for me. Like, any steel above s30v should be sufficient. But as others said steel should be something like MC, Cruwear on top of that titanium to spark interest in the collectors and not just people who are into small knives. Keeps my fingers crossed for a 2023 release.
