Congrats, I'm still wanting a Hawkbill DF2 Salt. But did pick up a PE Salt version to use for jogging. The DF2 is one of my all time favorites!

I likewise just picked up a DF salt in SE within the last couple of weeks. It is a very nice knife but I don't think it will be able to work itself into my EDC Delica rotation.

I guess mine is a DF2 also....not that it changes much...for me it just fits the bill for EDC, small...light weight but still has a decent cutting blade...just feels good in my hand....lol...let's hear the comments on small hands! It's all good! Love my Spyderco's

I carry Dragonflies quite a lot and I have two Salts in the rotation. Not only that, but when I do hydrotherapy in the pool I always have a DF Salt in my waistband.

I've always wanted one in SE. I have a VG10 PE, which I love, and I suppose that is what has stopped me so far.

Great choice! When I carry two folders, my little H1 DF SE is always one of them. I’ve even invented a special designation for it, it’s my go-to “crab knife.” It’s an ideal tool for cutting open crab legs, levering open the joints and digging out meat, and to clean it up I just chuck it in the dishwasher haha. Enjoy.

OP, you didn’t mention, unless I missed it, if it is SE or PE.

It was my first SE purchase and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Nice! New knife days are the best days.

This is my Dragonfly Salt. I use it as a running knife - works great on small branches that shorter neighbors neglect to trim. ;-)
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Serrated dragonfly h1, one of my favorite knives. Been thinking about getting one with the blacked out hardware. Just the perfect size for clipless carry, for me. Lives up to the - little big knife - moniker.

Still THE knife for me. I keep trying to talk myself into another dedicated knife but it never sticks. This is still the one.ImageUntitled by Six Pound Cat, on Flickr

Mine is a PE, I will post a few pics in the next few days.....it's so light sometimes I forget it's in my pocket 😂 I only wish the clip was a little deeper ..just to hide the handle...but no complaints otherwise

It may be possible to get a full size wire clip from a larger knife like a Manix 2 LW and bend it around and make yourself a deep(er) carry clip. If you're skilled enough with a pair of needle nose pliers you may even be able to make one from scratch with the right wire, but it may not have the same amount of springiness that the factory clip has.
