Hello UK Ken,

I have read on our newspaper that it were "probably" three nailbombs.

I would never say that after two weeks this would happen again in the same place. Terrible, hopefully this time the casualties were significantly lower AFAIK. Good luck Great Britain, you gonna need it...

I can't believe that this happened again just a couple of weeks since the last bombs. I just switched on CNN. At the moment it seems a bit chaotic. Hopefully there are much less casualties than the last time.

Just sad :(

Cheers, Rob

Sad days are to come in Great Britain.

Albert camus (1913-1960), a French philosopher born in Algeria, said something on this:

"QUELLE QUE SOIT LA CAUSE QUE L'ON DÉFEND, ELLE RESTERA TOUJOURS DÉSHONORÉE PAR LE MASSACRE AVEUGLE D'UNE FOULE INNOCENTE."

Wich could be translated to "No mather wich cause is defended, it will always be dishonorated by the blind slaughter of an innocent crowd"

And it's still getting worse. I just read this.

I am going to be in London for almost a day in a few weeks before I continue on to Ireland. At the moment it seems to be the best idea to stay at the airport :(

Rob,

I really hope this does not offend you but, don't you dare stay in the airport. If you had plans to see a little of the city. Do not give in to these animals. Their goal is to change our way of life and destroy Western society. Don't let them.

I'm going to see my brother next week, who lives in North London. I will travel by train, underground and bus. I will not allow my life to be dictated by terrorists. I will of course carry equipment that I always do, Spydie, cell and light. I will be more vigilant, but I am going.

God bless,

Simon.

No offense taken! We arrive Stansted in the late morning ang go on to Cork in the early evening so I guess it would be a bit stressy anyway and we only would go to the city to visit Madame Tussauds, the London Dungeon or something like that to kill time. My GF and I have been to London several times before, so it'll be no big loss if we don't go.

I wouldn't stay at the airport because I am afraid of a new terrorist attack. That can also happen at an airport (although Stansted seems very unlikely as target) or pretty much anywhere else. It's more of the current situation in general. The police shot a guy in a tube-station with some people just standing 5 yards nearby, the authorities seem to overreact (what I can understand), people are scared and so on and on... I am also sure that I can't talk my GF into going to the city.

I only hope that the British authorities get these terrorists and they get what they deserve!

Cheers, Rob

True Rob, but what are the chances of our sometimes-far-too-civilized societies throwing the b**tards into a pit with a half dozen or so hungry wild boars?
