If anyone wants to point me in the direction of a large insingo inkosi with inlays, I'd be much obliged
I heard that DLT was getting a drop of around 60 Inkosis this week, but I did not see anything about which configurations.

I also heard they were releasing their stock of Crucarta PM2s this week, but no updates there yet.
I really wish you would've PM'ed SG so I wouldn't have read that..... now I'll be checking DLT this week.
:shush
It's a **** sickness with these CRK's. Very dangerous love affair haha! I find myself browsing constantly throughout the day, even though I know I can't be buying anymore of them at the moment (though I just tell myself I'll sell a couple Spyderco's) and then I look at my collection and think...I don't want to sell any of these!

Love that just before the new year there was a thread about resolutions and I said I was done buying knives for this year and just accumulating more sharpening equipment and continue working on that aspect of the hobby. A Military and Large 31 later...here I am :perservering

I’ve gotten to the point where I pretty much know what I like from Spyderco, and I’m just waiting for really sweet versions or particular models. I’d still like a 940, but I’m not really motivated by any other non-Spyderco folders.

For fixed blades, I’d sure like to try a Guardian, and I might be convinced for a Nyala, but I don’t really think anything will beat BRK for me.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I'm doing my best to avoid that BRK rabbit hole. All those knives you guys post in that dedicated thread are beautiful. All those handles are incredible. I've been good about telling myself my Mule and 2 Guardians are good enough...for now.

I'm actually satisfied with the 5 CRKs I have, and I don't really feel tempted to acquire any more. I actually enjoy my knives more now, since I no longer purchase knives very often.

Yea, I feel this. I try to rotate through, but there are definitely knives I don’t carry enough to justify the cost of (looking at you, Manix).

I’ve been carrying the Sebenza since it came in last week, and I think I miss the Shaman and the Stretch most. The Military is a close 3rd.

They are good enough, certainly. But man, BRKs are nice. ;-)

They just dropped a bunch in S45VN. The only reason I didn’t get one yet is that I’ve got two preorders coming up soon. I especially like the elk scales, but if your wallet can take it this is an exquisite little number.

Ha! I've only had one and sold it because I never carried it and I found myself carrying PM2s to weddings anyway :p, but it was a very VERY nice little knife and I plan on buying one with the hole in it someday. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Would swapping a Large 31 Insingo blade work in a Large 31 with inlays handle? Seems like it should right?

There is a good chance it will work, but because they are all hand finished/fitted some work and some won't.

This. As Sal would say, “they’re not Legos.”

I saw a post in the CRK Facebook group where a guy sent his drop point to Idaho and waited 9 months for them to fashion him a matching tango blade.

Honestly I haven’t had fantastic results swapping Spyderco blades, I imagine CRKs would be even harder because of the attention to detail that goes into each one.

On the other hand, maybe it would be easier because their tolerances are tighter?

I think I’d just buy another knife.

I have one of his knives somewhere and there’s nothing wrong with it but I won’t buy another.

DLT is dropping new stock today.

I was so nervous checking that. I really DID NOT want to see a Zaan available right now, I'm thankful it wasn't! :exhaling

Definitely a shame that those inlay models no longer come with the polished finished. They still look great, but that change of contrast, especially on the clip side is much nicer with the polished finish.
