Thankyou all for the kind words!
999: I hope you got my mail. Regarding your question about the thickness, I measured the original handle scales. They are both 3,06 mm thick so actually the Pride became slightly thicker with the new handle but it looks and feels still very slim.
Silverback: Actually my prefered hardwarestore sells both imperial and metric screws but it's almost impossible to get threaded bushings here that fit to US standards. I had several threaded SS bushings in my toolbox left from my last project (friction folder :D ) that had an M3 thread and were 4 mm in diameter. They looked good so I thought if they don't fit I make them fit
As for the washers. I used the original washers from the Pride (could be Nylon  ). Yesterday I litterally soaked the knife in Tuf-Glide and let it cure a little. After it was dried up I opened and closed it a couple of times and now the action is much better. Maybe it just has to break in.
Today I made some corrections to the handle, polished the screws and put everything back together. Now it looks a bit better than yesterday :) It's just difficult to take photos from it because of the glossy finish of the handle
I think I'll leave it like it is now. Looks good, feels good - not much space for more improvements left :D Maybe really a clip but at the moment I think it would destroy the harmony and clean lines or the handle.
Cheers, Rob
