Much as I like the Spydiechef, I think the Techno 2 "feels" closest to a CRK among the Spydies I've handled. I've never held a K2 or a Slysz Bowie though, so my basis for comparison is limited.

ZT 0609 today.

Had I never handled a CRK, I probably would have been pretty impressed with the Bowie when I had it. But, I already had a couple CRK's and found it difficult to put them in the same class. I believe I made a thread with some comparison photos when the Bowie exclusive was big news.

The Inkosi hasn't left my pocket since I received it! This and the ladyhawk make it hard to grab any other knives.

Yes it is real gold I promise!. I am up on the in-laws property for a week. They have a crick that runs through there 40 acres that flows almost all on bedrock with shallow plunge pools. Perfect hiding spot for little nuggets! Rumor around town is the largest nugget in Skagit County(WA state) came out of this crick.

Sounds like they have an awesome chunk of land! That's a cool story as well. Good luck on your gold hunting endeavors this week and be safe!

Not in my pocket yet, but I ordered two of these 'Merica themed SMKW Hogue Dekas last night (one for my dad). Seemed like such a killer deal on a well liked knife that I'd been eyeing for a while, just couldn't pass it up.

Nice 0609! I am a fan of mine (same bronze as yours). Carries nice and thin. Handle profile that is similar to the Delica, but with a obviously longer blade (and clearly much more fancy). Flips great, as long as your fingers aren't on the lockbar. It's my only ZT, and I love it.

Wow now those are some in-laws worth having! :winking-tongue Looks like you got at least another CRK's worth in that bucket.

Thanks! Yes, the 0609 is a good model from ZT. Probably my only nitpick is that it needs a special tool for the pivot. Luckily, I haven't had to take mine apart yet :)

Yup you’re about right! Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to invest in a suction dredge to really do some damage..

Weeeeeee!

They sure do produce some interesting knives. I've resisted so far, but eventually they will trip me up.
