Great color! This is caused by light or scales dyeing?

I would say, a bit of both. But the major part is due to dyeing.
You can see nearly the same picture a few posts later but that time without direct sunlight.
Here:
Do not have a new picture, but the same knife still is in my pocket.

Coldest morning of this winter, these temps really wake you up though haha! Finishing my week with the Manix. Went all orange for Spydercos this week.

I have to say that I really don’t miss those mornings! The worst were those temps combined with 2 feet of lake effect snow! The heat and humidity can be oppressive at times down here, but I don’t have to shovel it!

That's right, I forgot you mentioned before that used to live or work in the area in the past! Over this weekend, according to the map, our area is expected anywhere from 3-7" or 7-12" of snow over the weekend with temperatures staying around 0 or below.
I don't know if you follow the NFL, but there's a playoff game in Buffalo tonight...right off the lake. I wonder if they would consider postponing it, it will literally be dangerous for the fans to sit in that weather tonight, especially if there's high winds.

I used to follow the NFL, not so much anymore. But I will channel the late John Madden and say that’s real football. Mud, blood, rain, or snow. Buffalo natives probably think it just a little chilly outside.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 10:40 am

The REX 45 PM2 is still on box cutting duty at home but the Stretch 2 is being a pocket hog lately. I have to admit that K390 is probably my overall favorite of the high alloy tool steels.
