Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
My Fiance and I along with our faithful black lab went for a walk today. The temp outside is -10F with a real feel of -35F! I had my Native Salt and Lady Hawk in pocket for the hike.

Multiple re-reads here, too! They're great books. The Peter Jackson films are good, too.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 12:29 pmGreat knife and have read those books three times , My Precious! Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
It was my first time dyeing, so I had no real idea, of how it would turn out. But I have to say, I like that color too.
And the part, that is visible, when the knife is clipped in your pocket is less visible too.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Great picture, those colors really pop.

Absolutely. This color really fits the black hardware, and in your case, the black blade.

Salt 2. //
And, off topic (in THIS particular thread ok I think):
Vivi, quoted you cause the throwing device in the pic I got recently could perhaps be a thing for you too as a frisbee guy?
It's a Chakram, an ancient (asian) indian weapon (over 2000 years old), just a steel ring with an edge all around and and not too bad flight characteristics. Comes in various sizes, there are even ancient manuals how to use it.
At first I thought it could be boring compared to throwing knives, cause the challenge of learning how to always make the knife arrive at the target with the point forward is obviously not there with a ring.
But: I did a lot of Frisbee stuff too in my life, and it's actually really fun applying those skills to the Chakram. And definitely a challenge to generate enough power AND rotation (so the ring actually draw cuts into a target) and to be accurate enough in various techniques when just throwing on whatever treestump or dead trees in various distances.

the salt 2 is really lightweight, so i'm guessing pretty far.
