I do not know how the meet works or have worked in the past but it is something I would love to attend to. Amsterdam is really not that far from me .
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Normally someone from the Netherlands (Ted, Jurphaas) would post a message that there where say 30 tickets available and you had to send a certain "password" and your data to the email adress included in the mail. If you where lucky ( or fast enough) you could get an entry to the Amsterdam meet.
I was always too late. Felt a bit like trying to find tickets for Tomorrowland in Belgium...

I'll let you know next year how Tomorrowland went. I work in their first aid stations as a trauma nurse for the last 5 events. Has been fun , but we loose some of the visitor's every year.

I don't mean to burst a bubble, but I'd be very VERY surprised if there'd be a meet next year. :-|| It would be a great thing, a superb sign that we finally managed to live through the pandemic and be victorious (with way too many losses). But not in Q1 or Q2 of 2022. Q3 and Q4 we should then still be super careful, not give the virus a chance for a big comeback.

Let's hope for 2023.

I hope something happens. Wouter's pic thread is always my favorite part of the year.

Very happy to hear this! I hope I’ll notice the invite in time, been too long since the last meet.

Just found out a couple days ago that sanctions in Holland were lifted. Can anyone local confirm this?

At the moment a lot has been lifted but still some sanctions up on how many people are allowed together for what kind of space and such.
But a meeting like the Spydiemeet's would be allowed again I guess, maybe with a QR code check at the door and more space between seats.

Thanks Joris, much appreciated. Guess I'll have to resort to the sideshow then. Amsterdam being the vibrant city it is I'm sure there'll be plenty of things to do... :party-face like pay my old man a visit. :cheap-sunglasses

I'm sure it'll take some time to plan a next Spydiemeet so might well be different rules by the time it's actually happening? ;)
