I have a clip like that. They're great for this purpose.

I don't put my Ladybugs or Manbugs on key chains. I just drop them down into my pocket where they are out of the way and in no danger. My key chain knife is a Vic Classic SD.

I like the quick release keychains for my Jester. I can take off and put back so easy without having to fiddle around at all. Plus I have extras so I can just as easily swap over to a neck carry. That’s when this setup really shines. Can take it off, open it, close it, and reattach it all one handed. Without needing to take the chain from my neck.
I like your setup. Really like that jester, too.
Thanks Seth! But to be honest, I actually like yours more. Looks way more universal and versatile for exactly how I carry/use mine. But I wouldn’t need a pre made setup to swap around. It also opens up belt loops and other locations to clip. Where did you get that clip?
