Folks, this knife is not for you. Don't bother trying. It's not stainless, the color is wrong, you have to pay tax, you won't like it. You should definitely skip it.

Did I imagine it or did the sage lw only cost $90 a little while ago? Now 122. 154 for the sprint. I know prices go up every year, but I had some sticker shock with this one.
I’m fairly certain the Sage LW was released at $122. I have no problem paying $30 to upgrade to M4. I pay $200 - $250 plus materials every time I have a basic reblade done, so this is a bargain. :grin-squint
I see what I did, I always confuse the Sage and the Chapparal :beaming-face
The Chap LW cost $95 not the Sage.

Wait a second, I'm changing my mind again...

Can *I* join the Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer too? If "Most Noble" is above my pay grade, I'd be OK with "Noble" or even just the "Order" with no superlative and no nobility. It's just that...I'm desperate to belong to an exclusive club.

Got two! If they announce DLC I’ll probably pass one of these along, but for now I’ve got a backup.

If I wasn’t in line for the seconds sale right now, I would have bought this but I’d rather save my pennies. If it’s miraculously in stock after the sale happens, I’ll grab one.

Got one!

Going straight to the safe—to keep it safe for when my daughter is mature enough to care for it! She’s 10, green is her favorite color, and she’s been rocking a round-tipped green Opinel for a year.

I wasn’t planning on buying this, in fact I didn’t even know these were available to buy today until reading this thread right now. I’ve never owned a sage knife so hopefully it fits me well.

Got stuck in a meeting. Was surprised it was still available. Good!

My first Sage in one of my go to steels.

Lot of knives in this category. A category which I use a lot. And as the Native 5 completely took it over for me, the Sage fell off the radar.

It took a steel I wanted; helps it is a compression lock. Let's see how it goes. If past orders are an indication, I should know by Saturday. :clapping-hands

I'm happy that it's an exclusive that's not a PM2, but the price plus tax is much higher than what I'd like to pay for a FRN knife. Congratulations to those who scored!

I wonder how long until this one sells out.

If this was a liner lock I’d have bought two. Very good looking knife.

The fact that it did not sell out within more than 3 hours is a hint as to why we don't see more of these in different sprint runs and dealer exclusives. There are knives that just don't get to ride the hype wave. Look at the Tuff from DLT Trading - still available.

I wanted to get one, but at ~5 bucks under what I can get a CruCarta PM2 for... I'm a bit hesitant to pull that trigger. I like everything else about it, though.
