I hope they don't treat him like that one season wonder moron Macadoo did with the Giants and Eli...that was NOT the way to handle a franchise player that won 2 Super Bowls. I hope the Steelers watched and learned from that, with their own 2 time champion and sure fire HOFer.

I think even if I weren't a Giants fan, I wouldn't have liked the way the Giants handled that situation a few years ago. I'd hate to see that happen to Ben. He's had one heck of a career.

Anyone watching this game? Y'all blaming Russell or Pete for the seahawks offensive problems... Through the years?

Honestly, they were never the same after Pete botched that last Super Bowl. They would've had back2back World Championships. And, that was a devastating loss like no other. Cannot get any worse than that.
Killed them psychologically as well imo. I mean the difference between back to back vs loosing the way they did.....can you imagine being on that team? To have to play that over in your head? I'd be like why in the heck, Pete???? Why?????? Lol...
So, yeah it's all Pete's fault imo.
And, I love Pete Carrol as a coach- but there's no excuse for that call in the Super Bowl.
*Edit* I know that's prolly not the answer you were looking for. As for all the years since their last Super Bowl - I dunno. All I know is that they really, really, had something super special back then and I just cannot help but think that things would be drastically different had they won that second Super Bowl.

I love that guy. He's always at that children's hospital in Seattle. He is a really great person.

I tried. I watched the first quarter and then Lil’ Darb (my son) couldn’t sleep so I spent the rest of the game in his room trying to help a six year old fall asleep. The joys of parenthood!

I completely forgot about the game last night. I was working on some projects and had a pre-season hockey game on. I was going to be around midnight when I realized I forget to turn the football game on. Plenty of football coming this weekend. So no great loss

You got something last night, a helluva a lot better than a football game bro.

So how do y'all feel about the London games... Hate them or love them? I hate them. The players and coaches hate them too.

I feel bad for the international fans during years like this when they have to watch two teams like the Jets vs the Falcons. Apparently this the the 29th straight time that the London game has featured two losing teams. It will be 30 straight when the Dolphins play the Jags there too.

I don't mind the international NFL games. It think it's funny seeing jerseys from all 32 teams in the stands. :grin-squint
