Fradon Lock and Key did a similar Delica exclusive a while ago:

I carried and used mine yesterday. It's become one of favorite Delicas

Big fan of Delicas, have several. Put CF scales on a HAP40/SUS410 Wharncliffe (and a titanium clip from Lynch NW), my favourite knife ATM. Posted it in another thread just because I like it so much:

It's a beautiful mod, but I wouldn't call that an upgrade. It should make it way too slippery.

Thank you, and no it’s not an upgrade, just nice. And given the great ergonomics to begin with, it’s not slippery at all for EDC tasks.

4 or 5 years ago I wanted my knife scales to have the most texture possible. I still like some FRN with bi-directional texturing or some grippy peel-ply G10 but I've also learned to appreciate smooth scales (CF, G10, wood, etc). I have the Delica (pictured above) and the Caly 3.5 CF and I never feel like they're too slippery. I've never had an issue with them slipping out of my hand at all. Plus they're much easier on my pockets

I always thought of the Mantra as the upgraded Delica.

Well, now that you say it... they are quite alike in a lot of ways. Delica still has that golden form factor over it though.
