Well, here´s the Spydersaw: https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... yderSaw/51 and pic below.
A design I ´d really like to see in production again, either just the folding saw it is (4.9 saw blade and just 3 oz!) as a Dyad / Double bladed folder with a long knife blade and a saw...
Even started a poll on this once: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=87504
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Google will bring those all right up.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

The C48 Tim Wegner model is a great knife. The blade steel in mine is ATS-34. I think I’ve owned mine for over 20 years now. It’s considered rare now, but I don’t know how much it might be worth.

Re: Never heard of these models
He has both the c48 & c49 , I think ats-34 = CPM 154 ?
I didn’t know they where the precursors to the stretch & stretch II but in g10 scales

Re: Never heard of these models
All of those are awesome. Hang on to them. Almost everyone here wants the catcherman to come back. The spydersaw is cool and is probably not going to be seen again for a number of reasons. Neat.

Re: Never heard of these models
He sent me a picture of them , and I don’t know how to post without a photo app
Any chance someone can post them if I text or email
I would think we could figure out what they are ? I don’t know and can’t find any more information about them except g10 scales, liner lock and ats-34 on the c-48 & 49’s
The filet knives look FRN clipit , saw ?

Re: Never heard of these models
The Catcherman is FRN, came in part serrated and full serrated. The saw was FRN as well.

Re: Never heard of these models
The Spydersaw are rather rare to find . I bought one on close out years ago . I tested it and realized it was a directional saw and cleaned it and put it away in its box . What you have is a valuable piece of Spyderco history . Regards MG2

Re: Never heard of these models
Sorry I do not do business on the Forum nor was it my intention , I was just trying to alert you to the rarity of the Spydersaw . All the knives you listed are rare and can fetch collector prices , the Wenger hunting folders are great for those who rather not use a fixed blade . They are no doubt still in use today in the field . Regards and have a wonderful day ! MG2
