My youngest daughter took mine this weekend(army) and I really miss it! Probably just buy another because it's just that good!
I think it is great that your daughter has your knife now (in the army?)!!
But I also think: You have to get another indeed!! It IS that good!
I´ve said it before: Practically speaking for me role model how a sensible designed small folder should look like:
Does not need to be any heavier
Does not need thicker blade stock
Does not need a choil, but rather a spacious grip and a ricasso to choke up on should need be.
Just perfect for what it is and such an amazing performer! Plus: Totally rustproof, for those who need that.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

As you know, I am in that same camp with you Wartstein.
It IS that great of a knife.
And 'hat's off' (thank you) to your daughter in the Army, LegofWhat? Now hurry up and order yourself a replacement LC200N Salt 2 :)
It'll be even cooler that you and your daughter have matching knives! (IMO)

I am about to get one of these but mod it with a pointy tip ASAP. I purchased the wharnie one and it's a pocket chainsaw. I love these green little suckers. I only wish they release a green salt Endela... with teeth of course.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Yes, the tip is a bit on the robust side, which I actually like though (since the blade is thin plus tapering it is still pointy enough for my use so far. Perhaps I'll make it just a bit more so one day)
Yes, an Endela Salt ffg SE would be a homerun I figure...
Meanwhile you might want to try and mod an Atlantic Salt ffg instead? See here (originally NOT my idea of course!) viewtopic.php?t=88063#p1468602

No secret that I like your pics with their special and very distinct style anyway.
But this is an especially good one. Great color combinations and composition!

These are popular atm. Mine is suppose to arrive tomorrow. The decision was made several months ago, but since I wasn’t in a hurry I had time to see if a better deal would come along. And so it did.

Gernot, I've finally come around with lw frn and back locks! It's hard for me to say it because I fell so hard for para3's from the beginning, but now it's the k390 Endela most days around work then the salt2 every evening.Wartstein wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 10:13 amlegOFwhat? wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:46 am

I balked at threads that lifted up the backlocks and thought of frn as Lego material. My how things change over time and experience.

Nice photo, I really like the dragonfly and that particular blade looks very nice. Sharp, too.SpydieFlicker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 5:14 pmI have been experimenting with photos, and I am really proud of this. I also love the Dragonfly, it packs waaay more punch than i thought.

I’ve been carrying the PM2 for work and Caly 3.5 at home this week.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Poor Chaparral... got kicked out of my pocket as a small lightweight option by the Salt 2 lately... but took it on a run today, and it is still great in that scenario: So thin and slim iwb, and a great cutter... imagine this thin blade would come in SE...

That looks really good! I tend to actually favor the DLC blades more times than not, but this swap looks great.
