Most of my recent acquires have been in either CruWear or 3V. They also have been fixed blades. Really wasn't my choice; just coincidence that the models I liked were done in these steels. Guess the knife maker is pretty smart....

I have 3V already in a fixed blade and more Spydie Cru than I can handle at the moment, so for my purposes (edc) definitely Cru-Wear. But a 3V Spydie would be nice.

Aside from the OG Tuff, are there any other Spydercos in 3v?

For me, the answer won't be MagnaCut until it is widely available in a production model. Given that the pandemic has negatively impacted manufacturing, how many months or years will that take?

Cruwear for folders. 3V for heavy-duty fixed blades.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
