Flock of mules
Since I had the mules corralled up and finished working on the Z-max, I thought I'd share a photo.
I'm to try to turn this thin-blue-line sheet of Kydex into a sheath but I'm not sure how to get the most effect out of it...

Re: Flock of mules
My mules saw your photo and asked why they have to wear paracord when other mules get such fancy clothes.
I told them that life's not fair and pipe down.

New to me. I really like the color (s). I don't think our north american Eucalyptus looks anything like...will check.

► Show Spoiler
Australia has many great hardwoods, most hardwood lists in the US mostly only include north and South American hardwoods and a few northern hemisphere species.
We have a few that loggers wouldn’t touch in the early days due to hardness and wear on their bodies and gear. (Axe and hand saw days)
Here is a list of some of the common with some striking colours

Wow! Long live the Australian woods! Stunning. Many of them eucalyptus varieties. Didn't even know that Turpentine was a tree...ignorance isn't pretty...!

Clogged a bit of sandpaper too then….. it’s a tough old timber to work with.legOFwhat? wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 1:38 pmThat's going to look awesome! Looks like you and I worked with the same type of wood this weekend too!

Re: Flock of mules
This helps a bit. It's intended for drywall sanding but it works really well on gummy wood. Just lift, vacuum and repeatstandy99 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 7:22 amClogged a bit of sandpaper too then….. it’s a tough old timber to work with.legOFwhat? wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 1:38 pmThat's going to look awesome! Can't thank you enough for gifting these scales to me! It's been a pleasure working with. I tried to get as many photos I could to do a small write up on the process once it's finished.
