Super excited - just picked up a Terzuola Slipit for a very decent price. This is one I’ve been wanting for quite some time.

I've always thought that was a cool looking knife. KnivesPlus had/has one in the boss's collection selection that tempted me a few times over the past year or so. Hope you like it!

An a bit weird one:

Found this one used for a pretty low price and wanted to try it out (especially make the hollow grind really thin and turn it into a good little woodscraft folder)

It obviously is the FRN Native (C41BK) that came in S30V, BUT usually with a barrel clip.
THIS one though has the wire clip of the Native 3 (C78BK) that came in VG10..

So: Odd combination, someone must have changed out the clips.
Anyway, looking forward to trying this little guy out, though I most likely won´t keep it forever. Just not that much into small folders.

EDIT: Pics are from the seller of course, since the knife literally is "in the mail" right now.

Cool! Didn't even know that these come in the combo FRN and S30V.

Practically speaking I have no need at all for a DFly since I have my Chap FRN and am not really into small folders anyway.
But as one who loves Spydercos I can see how very cool this model generally is... I am "afraid" one day I'll have to have one... :smirk

It is a "future" knife for my 6-year old daughter. Didn't want to miss this combo with pink handle :)

Autonomy 2 is out for delivery today. Ordered the LC200N, DLC serrated edge for a good friend of mine who has been trying to track one down.

The saga of my SE Native Salt continues. The last two updates from the seller moved the ship date to April 2022, then back to December 2021. So, yeah, not really in the mail yet. As long as they honor the sales price, I'm OK.

Man, those older Native blades are so cool! The swedge, the grind lines...just looks incredible. Curious to hear how you like using it compared to your usual ffg preferences.

Julia, you probably know that I am generally not into such (for me) really small Spydies, and with a Delica, Salt 2 and Chap do have more than enough of those already anyway- but you summed up perfectly why I still could not pass the opportunity to get this old Native:
The uber-cool looks (not only the blade, but the Native in all its iterations for me generally is perhaps the coolest looking Spyderco)
And for trying out the not only cool, but interesting grind.

Here my very first impressions:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&start=29540#p1552012
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&start=29560#p1552186

Actually I like this old little guy enough so far, that I´d wish it came in the exact same grind in a (for me) more universally usable size - perfect would be a size like the lately discussed "mid sized Native" (see here: viewtopic.php?p=1546774#p1546863)
