I really like that F3 too.
Especially the one they have at Recon1 with that Purple CF.
Paul, I may or may not have gotten one of those...and it just might be excellent. ;-) The purple got me.
Oh Julia........you gotta show me now :star-struck
I gotta see and know......I love that Purple in the CF
Oh...you are gonna love this...Shiro just announced they're updating the 111, now with that beautiful carbon fiber including purple!

And here is the F3:

The F95NL with white/black micarta inlay.
Nice! A recent buy? What do you think?
Yes, just got her. Amazing knife all the way around.

They're both in stock at Recon 1 right now!

I think for me it's a tie between this F3 NS with it's contoured scales and the F95R NL, which also has contoured scales and beautiful fat carbon fiber inlays. If they made a smaller version of this new 111, I'd be all over it - it is gorgeous! But at like 4.4" it's too big for me. I'd also really like to find one of the discontinued alutex Hatis.

Paul, I don't know if you use the facebook knife groups, but I see these F3s pop up in the Shiro group for good prices from time to time. I bet they come up on the BF exchange and reddit, too, although I never use those.

Building the wife a farmhouse table this weekend for the cost of screws, hardware, and stain. Lumber was sourced from my FIL’s mill. :)

The more i try to get into other brands the more I keep running back to spyderco. The spydie hole is a powerful thing... I just can't get into thumbstuds or flipper tabs. But I will continue to live vicariously through y'all and your knives 😇

Yeah, I sold a lot of my collection and consolidated it into some higher end stuff. It's been a lot of fun, but I'll always love my Spydies best!

Spartan Harsey today, trying to finish the wife’s table today. (That’s the bottom of the table top, need to stain the top and fasten it to the legs still.)
