Opened and attempted to break down a box containing our new carpet cleaner. Wet cardboard doesn't cut well, mostly tears.

Yes, they do. One difference is the flowers on these only get to be about 4" across. The seeds in the middle don't even look like seeds, nothing like sunflower seeds.

Used my KnifeJoy PM2 to cut notches in vinyl window frames. This is making a much better work knife than the native 5 salt.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
No pics but was at my mom’s with my surprisingly fantastic Ryobi 40v chainsaw, (seriously great for a homeowner tool) pruning one of her trees. After putting everything away found a few 1/2” thick trees trying to grow behind her garage where the extension ladder goes. Used my Smock to remove them. Sliced through effortlessly. I’ll poison the remains when I go back in a week or two to run the small stuff through my little wood chipper. Took the larger pieces to throw in the pile for the fire pit.
If you're wielding the sharpest tool in the shed, who's going to say that you aren't...?

More weed cutting, Endela K390 this time around.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I wanted to see if it would work, as I know I can do it well with a Vic Classic sd
so,
while maybe not "ideal"
yes,
I does work fine for halving, and then quartering an Avocado :)
I was surprised at how tiny this thing is, but ... lol
u.w.

Used my K390 Endura to open up what came in today's mail:

Today I've cut the hard rubber slabs to build the playground for my daughter.
Have tried some PE blades for that task, but they just got stuck into a tough 3.5 cm thick rubber.
But SE hollow ground Pac.Salt have done that work perfectly. I've used reverse handle grip, and deep, powerful forward cuts. At the end, the edge was rolled quite a bit (no chipping - nice tough steel for a hard work!), and it got some vertical blade play. But I have that play on every single backlock which I've used at least a few times, so it's not a problem for me.

Little knives don't get the credit they deserve :)
LBHB cut a blister pack and some rope. Native cut some fabric and checked chicken on the grill this evening.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Used my s90v urban to trim some rubber that surrounded a cutting board that got too crispy next to the stove. Oops.

Did some yardwork with the Salt 2 wharncliffe.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
trimming some charred onions and other misc tasks in the kitchen
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I was masking off the end of a bunch of small steel weights with a nylon tape at work today. We normally use X-Acto knives to trim the tape, but they don't last long when trimming right up to the steel, so I used my K390 Endela. It worked perfect without having to change blades and it never left a mark on the K390.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Used my ronin 2 to open a pack of dremel attachments.
It was slower going than I expected with my little handheld dremel, but hopefully later this week I'll be carrying a waved Pacific Salt!
