Haven't sharpened mine since the 5th, and honestly I can't even tell when I use it. It still cuts very well. Been using it at least a couple times every day.
Same here. I haven't sharpened mine yet either, and it's still cutting just fine through everything I've used it for. While I'm not going out of my way to find mountains upon mountains of stuff to cut up, I am carrying it every & all day, and use it multiple times every day.

A Pac Salt in her natural environment…
That is such a great looking PacSalt.
You & vivi have definitely got two of the best looking PacSalts out there.
Just kidding, but it's great there too, not only in salty enviroments.
Actually the Pac Salt is not "in my pocket today" and the pic from last fall, but it just fits here.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
It's unlikely that I'll ever get a C15 or C19 (and the fact that the G10 versions were only combo edge) or that we'll ever see an "ordinary bevel" in this handle so I might as well use and enjoy this one ...

That is a great shot! And I agree, their home is in the mountains, or on the beach, or anywhere where they're being used and sharpened and loved. I'm enjoying all the Salt enthusiasm lately :)

did you veff a spyderhawk?! that thing must chew like crazy!
I sure did. Honestly in my usage I find the spyder edge more versatile. But I'll give the Veff some more pocket time to see how I feel.
i've always thought these serrations looked cool and would be super aggressive. i suppose it depends on what you have to cut, whether they would be more or less effective. i imagine they are more snaggy than spyderco serrations.

They only cut on the pull where as SE blades can cut in a sawing motion. I don't know yet but I think SE would cut longer too. Time will tell. I think when they dull they will definitely snag.
I keep debating on this one or trying for that Jester. Bet that Manbug is a mean little cutter.
I have Manbugs in ZDP-189, V-Toku 2, HAP40, and now the VG10/TiCN Wharnie (a couple of Ladybugs too). I always have one in the bottom of my pocket. So I like changing them out. I think this little Wharnie may bump the others for awhile.
I plan to try for a Jester too but not the end of the world if I don't get one. I've just wanted a Jester because they've been disco'd for awhile and I'd like to have one. I have a "feeling" the the Joker isn't the only dealer doing a Jester exclusive. I'm pretty sure there'll be other opportunities to get one
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
And a trained eye might suspect a blade/handle swap...
