I just purchased a Spyderco Delica 2 so I'm asking A LOT of questions just to be sure I bought a pretty good knife. So go easy on me, just a few more days before it arrives. Right now I have a couple of questions for everyone.
1: I've heard that the Spyderco Delica 2 is just like the original Delica except it is stainless steel, is that true?
2: Is the Delica 2 a good quality knife to buy?
3: Why isn't the Delica 2 on the Spyderco website?
Please tr to answer these questions, I REALLY want to gain more information. Thanks!
A couple of questions

The Delica II is a stainless steel handle and a different blade steel, but it is the same in size. Weight is more with the II, but overall the same.
The Delica II is an excellent knife to buy. Almost all Spyderco's, if not all, are going to be a good purchase.
I don't know why its not on the web site. Sorry. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Enjoy your spyderco's!!

The Delica 2 is on the Spyderco website. It is listed as the Delica, while the FRN model is listed as the Delica Lightweight. (page 1 of the product section.)As for whether or not it's a good quality knife to buy, I say heck yeah. After all, it's a Spyderco product.

Like my good friends Rookie w/ stainless steel handle, I expect you'll be impressed by the heft of your new knife...the rich appearance and the "just have to think about it..." drop-open technique possible with these heavy handled beauties is wonderful.
I'm waiting impatiently for my serrated stainless steel Police model to arrive; any day now.
