BladeHQ Exclusive Smock - Natural G10 and M4

Yeah no kidding. There didn't feel like a lot of hype leading up to this one. But it was for sure a lolly scramble.

Even the copper PM2 went in the cart and through the checkout with no lag or refresh.

The BHQ lil' Native did not do this kind of site crashing...it's a new record for a Smock. The DLT one lasted for quite a while.

Rashman sir you are so right about the 404 page it kept popping up and I was using both my laptop and desktop running back and forth between the two and at one time right when I summitted the order I got the 404 page and ran to my laptop and it said I had one in my cart but no sale :eek: When My desk top came back it had a order confirmation. Nerve racking...I thought I was not going to get one as the clock kept on ticking.

BladeHQ uses Cloudflare, if your laptop and desktop where using the same internet connection, you might have been hurting yourself as Cloudflare will see it as possible attack and kill your browser connection

I'm still wondering how this one sold out so fast, almost on par with a PM2 drop, considering that outside a few IG posts, there was nowhere as near a hype for this compared to the BHQ Lil Native or even the latest Knifejoy PM2 exclusive. Even in this thread, it only got two pages' worth of posts before the drop. BHQ natural G10 isn't the most attractive either. If we go by statistics alone, the KJ PM2 should have sold out but here we are, the KJ PM2 still available while the Smock has sold out.

I had a hunch they would go quick as it took me fair amount of time to purchase the M390 and 20CV variants at a reasonable price a few months ago. Secondhand Smocks in general get snapped up quickly.

I think the natural G-10 is a great neutral colour that matches any pants. And if you really hate it then it's easy to dye.

I would say the bright green scales, the coated blade, and the on it's just another PM2 has the other one still not sold out.

But to be fair we'd also need to know the size of both runs. The PM2 could have been big numbers and meant to stay available for a while.

My guess is that the market has been flooded with PM2’s and the Smock has been made less in exclusives. Also 20cv has been used a lot in different exclusives, where as M4 has only been run in BHQ pieces to my knowledge.

That’s a guess—but I would have chosen the Smock if pressed between these two.
