Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Congrats Bananarama! I must admit more than a bit of jealously - the Laguiole is one of my Grail knives. And Sal, more contests please!
Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Nice contest!! Congrats!!!
Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Congratulations to the winner.
I look forward to future contests.
If it hasn't already been done, might pick a couple runner ups in case the winner backs out, or doesn't respond in a timely manner.

Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Ive got a feeling this winner isn't going to work out...1 post, new to the forum and hasn't been back in nearly a month. Any chance at a contest, or when the word "free" is involved (though I know that's not the case here) people tend to come out of the shadows and participate

We still have all of the entries saved. How long do you think we should wait?

Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Doh! Bananarama get on it!
To be fair, I'd give him 15 days max. At this time, I'd pick the two follow up winners, the 2nd and 3rd place finishers, give them notice that if Bananarama does not claim the prize the 2nd place winner is on the dime, and so on.

Re: Contest test - Laguiole
In my opinion one week is fairly standard for most giveaways but I would say two weeks is more than fair.

I was thinking the same thing. I say give him a week and move on.
On another note; Sal, contests like this are fun a more would definitely be appreciated. Thanks

I am up for more, maybe buy some raffle tickets? You seem to choose good charities to support, maybe a once a month thing?

Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Sal, how about you have some more Mosquitos made up and do a similar contest?!

Re: Contest test - Laguiole
Hi Sal, is it possible to add payment options other then a cheque available? I live in Belgium and a cheque is something they stopped using here in the 90's. I can do CC, or cash but only banks use cheques between banks.
I know this complicates things but in europe cheques are a thing of the past.
Thx

This is a good idea! Maybe even make them out of Manbugs instead of ladybugs to keep the uniqueness of the originals intact? :spyder:
