Nice chance to swap the blade to the CF scales of the base model and then give the S30V version the jade scales that can be RIT dyed any color you choose!

I was all in for a second, I prefer flippers, want to try a Smock, and BHQ has had some M390/20CV exclusives lately, so I was thinking that's what this was. Not really interested in a naked M4 though, so I'll be passing on this one.

OK, this looks interesting to me - could replace my Native Chief as my utility blade as I really like the blade profile and (somewhat) neutral handle shape.

The action of this guy is off the carts, and the button lock makes it very smooth engage / disengage.
I loved mine when I had it... but ended up selling it to a coworker for wayyy below MSRP so he could have his first Spyderco.

I agree, the only thing I don't like is that cut out in the blade for the button lock. Other than that, it's an awesome and very unique knife for Spyderco. I know mine isn't going anywhere! Really breaks up the look in my collection of all my Para 3's, PM2's, Manix's and Shaman's.

I am really excited about this release!!
Blade HQ has been nailing the exclusives...I have been lucky enough to get both versions Of PM2 Tantos, & a Lum Tanto as well, crossing my fingers that I can add this beauty to my carry rotation, as I really like the blade shape..at least from the pics, as I have never seen, nor held an actual specimen.
