Saltified PE/SE LC200N. Great bird & trout bones. A bigger brother might make a decent folding filet.

Spooky!
I was just coming here to post about an Ikuchi XL. A 4.25” blade Ikuchi would be quite lovely.

I suggested this in post #8 of this thread already, back in April ;)

Sprints are never a bad idea. ;) And the Ikuchi is amongst my favourite Spydies. So elegant. So special.

How about a larger Ikuchi though? Still slim, yet say 20% larger? I'd dig that....

I’m really hoping an exclusive like this happens. I’m not a fan of the CF/G-10 Laminate on the current Ikuchi, but the design speaks to me.

I’m also trying to maximize the diversity of my spyderco collection at the moment, so S30v (while one of my current favorite steels) is alright but I’d prefer to try something new. At this point any exclusive configuration would get my money.

definitely up for an ikuchi. m4, 20cv, or m390 would be great

After living with my 20CV Kapara for a while, I would be very happy to see an Ikuchi in this steel. MagnaCut would probably be the ultimate, but that doesn’t seem likely anytime soon.
I don't get people who only carry one knife :thinking ;)

Rex45
S90V (+5) + CF (+6)
20CV (+6)
LC200N (+8)
S30V (+3)
CTS-XHP (+2) + wood (+3)
M390 (+2) + Ti (+3)
K390

Top contenders:

LC200N (+8)
20CV (+6)
Cruwear (+5)
S90V (+5)
S30V (+3)
CTS-XHP (+2)
M390 (+2)
CPM M4 (+2)

+ micarta (+9)
+ CF (+6)
+ wood (+3)
+ Ti (+3)

I'm thinking an S90V Ikuchi XL in CF scales would be a hot ticket and a nice tribute to that most noble YoJumbo expression that Sal, Eric and Mike were so generous to bestow upon us. Then again LC200N and micarta seem to be more popular.

Ikuchi is a Japanese sea monster, so a salt version would make some sense ;)
Lc200n with (perhaps) the salt treatment with scales of forest green G-10 with dragon scales engraved on them rather than peel ply texture.

i don't remember if magnacut was available when this thread started. my new preference would be titanium scales and magnacut. although the dragon scales idea is cool too.
