Hi all,

Just joined, after lurking for a bit.
I've been carrying an Endura 4 in VG10, but this week I've been carrying my first Spyderco - an Endura 3 in ATS-55.
Waiting for my birthday, as I heard I'm getting a Delica 4 in K390.

BladeHq, they are made by Allen Putman. The fit is a little loose around the lanyard hole but other than that they are fine.

Got my H1 Pacific 2 nearly finished. Worked on reprofiling it last night. Still had a little sharpie left close to the apex but decided it was close enough to carry.

Serrations are nicely rounded and shaving sharp after using the medium sharpmaker rods for a few strokes at 20 degrees.

I have to confess I let mine get there over time. I don’t have the patience with serrated blades for a full reprofile. For me, they just get better and better with repeat sharpenings!
Edit* I do reprifile or fully plain edge blades before I carry them them… go figure

Welcome! I really like the Endura 3 and Delica 3 and wish they were still in the line up.

Oh, and on topic: I paired the Siren with a Native 5 CF S90V.

Wasn't happy with the action of my Chief so I popped it open to clean, polish and lube the pivot area. While it was in pieces I sanded the edges of the scales more, and went over the blade with 1000 grit.

Image

I think I'm going to give it one more polishing session, it made the patina pop much more.

It doesn't make as much of a difference for SE since they come ground so thin even at 20 degrees, but it makes touching them up a lot faster.

That looks sick. How do you like the sanded down edges? I've been thinking about doing it to mine.
