What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Put a new edge on it, trying to decide whether I need another endura in K390.
But I've been carrying the rex 45 native chief for the last 2 weeks and I like it more and more with each day. So I guess I'm set between this, the chief and a cruwear millie.

Love it! Even the PM2 is stormtrooper themed :)
Sounds like the holy trinity of the world of hard-use Spydercos!

Huevos Rancheros @ my favorite place for breakfast that just reopened. :)
Just fried eggs on corn tortillas over black beans covered in a red and green salsa with a little rice and guacamole on the side.
In the pocket (actually IWB) today...

Always thought that if I´d get an alternative to my Enduras (perfect size for me for general use) it would be the Native Chief... but your Millie pics and how much I enjoy the linerlock on my S35VN Tenacious (in use I prefer it even over the backlock) makes me think that perhaps I should get a Millie again - with its comfy handle and perhaps even better linerlock... rolleyes:
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I'm still not sure how it happened, but the Military became my #1 again.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 3:59 am

When I carried my gorgeous pakkawood police the other day I missed having the Millie in my pocket.
On paper I should like the Chief better. Lockback, no hump, thinner blade, four way clip. But the Military works really well for me.

Same for me on the Military. Like Wartstein I am fan of the liner lock, and like vivi - having owned, carried and used the knives listed above - I prefer the Military most. Such a great knife in hand & use.vivi wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 5:11 amI'm still not sure how it happened, but the Military became my #1 again.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 3:59 am

....
I have owned only one single Millie in my life, a custom wood scaled one.
Main reasons why I sold it eventually: A bit long in right front pocket, a bit fragile looking tip, only tip down - these things made me carry one of my Enduras much more often.
But like Vivi said: Ever since I sold the Millie I actually miss it quite often.. mostly just the "special Millie way of comfort" - extremely good in hand, and for me there still is nothing as convenient in use as a good linerlock.
I think I´ll just have to own one again eventually, and this time it will stay. I´d probably figure out how to use the lanyard hole to improvise a tip up carry option and just carry it in pants with wider front - or even side/leg pockets...
Good thing: I am totally fine with S30V, actually really like that steel, so I don´t have to hunt for some sprint or exclusive.. :)
