Custom Kydex for a steak knife

#1

Post by JohnAPA »

I'm dreaming of the day when this **** is over and I get to go to a good steak house. For the past year I have kept my eye out for a hard container that can slip into my front pocket and house a Z-Cut or Paring Knife. I can't find anything. Toothbrush holders are too narrow, eyeglass cases are too short. Can anyone recommend someone who can make a $50 sheath to house a $20.00 steak knife? When the day comes, I want to have it all ready to go.

I would want a scout carry leather belt sheath and a wooden charger to cut my meat on as not to dull my knife on a china plate.

Solid

Do you happen to know both the hardness and abrasive specs on china and porcelain respectively? Assuming standard industry standards (of course)?

Not sure of the empirical evidence on those numbers for you, but I do know it ain’t good for your finer edged bovine scalpels.
This is what you are looking for...
