Nail Clippers
Anyone know of fingernail and/or toenail clips that are made of VG-10? Oh, man, that'd be nice. What are the best clippers and where do you get 'em?

Try buying a new pair.I have a very old pair that work fine but every new pair I have gotten just chew at the nail.My wife just bought a new pair that cost over 10.00(big bucks for nail clippers)and they are the worse ones I have tried. She took them back and got a refund.Nail clippers and a good pair of tweesers are 2 things I have been looking for lately but good ones don't seem to be made any more.

This set, from A G Russell is pricy, but excellent. They market a neat little pair of tweezers too Jeff.J Smith wrote:Try buying a new pair.I have a very old pair that work fine but every new pair I have gotten just chew at the nail.My wife just bought a new pair that cost over 10.00(big bucks for nail clippers)and they are the worse ones I have tried. She took them back and got a refund.Nail clippers and a good pair of tweesers are 2 things I have been looking for lately but good ones don't seem to be made any more.

Hey I've got some REVLON that's an EXACT copy of those A G Russells, and they cost me less than $5.00. (Only because they discontinued them and I got 'em on clearance!) They are very sharp and cut well, although I don't like them, because the top flips out for use and it's in the way. I guess I am just too picky. Here are pics of my cheapies:The Deacon wrote:This set, from A G Russell is pricy, but excellent. They market a neat little pair of tweezers too Jeff.

Why would you need a VG-10 nail clipper? I have a chippie that still performs great, after almost 20 years of use. OTOH, I have a newer one, that worked so bad, that is currently used for cutting and stripping wire(s)

I just appreciate quality, it's a cutting tool, and I want it sharp. All clippers I have used are too soft a metal and can develop nicks quite easily.dialex wrote:Why would you need a VG-10 nail clipper?
