I had one of those at one point but traded it for a Scrapyard Dogfather.

That Millie was really light. I can't remember, were they still using a single liner back then? I think those CF single liner ones were around 4-4.2oz.
It has the dual liners. Mine is 4 oz. Has one of best detents of any military I've handled.

Here's another shot with the clip side.

Nice. Can't say I regret making the trade I did, but I still think that's one of the best runs they did of the Military. Very high performance coupled with low weight.

I totally agree. It was my first military too. As much as I love my P4 once I put this back in my pocket it's hard to carry anything else.

That is an outstanding photo vivi!

So I finally got in some material I'd ordered, and made myself another hammock. The material was(is) "high end" in that it is very light weight (0.71oz), and it's pretty new. So the completed hammock, with loops attached at the gathered ends, and structural ridge line weighs a whopping 4.6 oz. It's a 10' 2" (what I find comfortable) long, 5' wide hammock... with my 1.5 oz suspension, the rigged hammock and suspension come in under 6.5 oz! which to me is outstanding! Oh, and yes it is comfortable,

Image

a little closer look shows the Salt 2 I modded hanging from the structural ridge line :)

Image

interestingly, this is the one I used to cut the AMSteel and Dacron :)

Image

I think I recently got a line on a guy in Germany, who's gonna send me another of these :D he says it's a Giant... Huge... :D

A'course I went out for one of my walks in the woods today.
Man! What an absolutely beautiful day it was today!
Had the 51 gram modded Salt 2 w/ me, and noticed the poison ivy was popping up all over... Here's a brand new, baby vine finding it's way up and over a downed tree.

Image

Unfortunately, I react to it... so I give it room when possible

That is one of the very few things I hate about spring...the poison ivy comes back. :-( I don't seem to be allergic to it, but if my poor brother even looks at it wrong he breaks out in awful oozy rashes. Terrible stuff!

They sure do Julia! I wish he would come out with these in other colors for a bunch of different models...I'd go broke on handle scales alone! I remember when I first got them I wasn't so sure about the grooves, now a couple years later I love that extra bit of character that they add to it.

Best value out there for decently treated s90v, and I don’t know if native lightweights have improved or if it’s this run in particular but the action is superb. Go for it!
