Custom scales may be something to really look hard at. Maybe a nice endurance as some have mentioned with custom scales and a deep carry lynch clip.

I just looked through the whole catalog.

How about a Kapara, that fits everything your looking for really nicely.

Not really, since he does not want S30V....
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

How about a knifecenter exclusive wood and Hap40 Endura?

Thats not a bad suggestion at all. I had no idea wood was even a option on spydies. As said I'm very new to spydercos. My 2 spydies that are in the mail are lost in limbo it seems. Gotta love usps sometimes lol.

Wood is a very rare option indeed. Perhaps on in house Spydies only on the maple Chaparral and the rosewood Shaman (?)?
The Pakkawood DFly, Delica, Endela, Endura, Police (the latter another great option for you actually) are dealer exclusives, and really nice. HAP 40 is a great steel too, but cladded with SUS410, which I totally like, but some others not so much

Good catch. I read that wrong. I thought it was nothing under s30v. Man it’s gonna be hard for him to find something lol

Just pulled the trigger on this.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Spyderco- ... %7Ciid%3A1

Well, I don´t think many did start their collection with three such rather rare (and expensive) Spydies! :)
Congrats anyway!

Thank you! Now I just need to decide between the native chief or the police.

You say no s30v or lower. I say to disregard that and get the Kapara, you'll be glad you did.

Won a bid on a s90v CF native chief last night. It looks so awsome I couldn't resist :)
