Love the Sages! 5LW with the bushing pivot is definitely the best yet by many accounts. Happy to see the Sage1 back to life in Maxament. Really hoping for a Sage2 in K390 (CRK ceramic interface CQI maybe please :D ), as well as a fabled 5LW in something interesting (10v?, 15v?). Sage 6 Button Lock FTW.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

And a thumb ramp. They are surprisingly different in hand and in use, considering the similarities.

Also the clip.

Not really for me... ;)

The big plus of the Native is the particularly great backlock (though the Sage is one of the knives where I like a comp.lock)

But the Sage gives you an a bit longer handle (which makes a difference in this particular size range), and around 10% more cutting edge, which makes a difference too (this is about like the increase in cutting edge from Para 3/ Sage 5 to Manix 2 LW. Relatively seen even more)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Ok, those are some good data points. I guess I'll have to try one eventually. :-)
