Nice! I love the look of an old fashioned traditional, even if it is brand new. Great choice!

Nice! I've been really tempted by those Castle Bokers.

Liked it so much I have the Club Knife version incoming.
Fit and finish impeccable, edge decent. Packaging over the top (in a good way). A definite buy.

How do you like that Pro Pac? I need a new bag for work. Marine repairs on boats.
Best bag I’ve ever owned. The warranty is one of the best, I broke a zipper, they sent me a loaner bag to use while it was in for repairs. Well worth the expensive price tag to get into one!
Very cool. Thank you.

For anybody interested, to follow up on my disappointing Inkosi Insingo...I messed around with a bit last night, and it's going to take some serious time and effort to get this knife how I want it :o

I applied Sharpie marker to the bevels and found that the clip side scrapes sharpie off at around 15-17 degrees, and the show side...around 25-27 degrees!!!! No wonder this thing cuts like a turd. Not quite sure what I plan on doing here yet. I know I don't want to part with it, because I do like the knife itself and know I can make it better...but geeeeeez, this is going to be a project.

Well Rick, if the price tag didn't scare me off a CRK, your report on the uneven bevels sure does. All show and no go. I bet you can get it evened up tho.

And the Club Knife - Boker Castle Burg - almost perfect. Left on the wheel a tad too long on the tip, otherwise great.

Send it in and see if a spa treatment will help. My Insingo is a crazy cutter, straight from factory.

That's a bummer! :( Surprising, too! My Sebenza had perfectly even bevels. (Which is more than I can say for 90% of every Spyderco I've owned)

That's pretty bad. I do have a tendency to milk the factory edge on most knives when possible, but I did find it necessary to rebevel quite a few right away, regardless of the brand. My Sebenza's have held up nicely with with a 15-17dps edge. My most recent has seen lots of zip ties, some scraping, and some light carving with no detectable edge damage. However, after using tool steels like M4 and now K390 for many years I'm pretty spoiled. S35vn needs more regular attention for sure.

In pocket right now:
