Newbie Saying Hello

#1

Post by CPM-Greg »

Hello, I'm Greg
I'm a Canadian living in Australia and have been lurking here for a while. I would like to say hello and introduce myself. While I have a few other brands of knives, I do like the Spydie's. Today I received a Jot Singh Khalsa and a Lil Lum Nishijin - super happy.
Take care, stay safe, and be sharp.

Welcome aboard Greg, good to see more Aussies here.
Hold on, you are Canadian, I thought we passed a law banning Canadians from Australia?
How'd you slip past customs? :)
Just jokes, I love Canadians.
Where are you in Oz mate?

The people here are very friendly. What attracted you to Spyderco knives?

Hey Vaceslav (that´s your name, if I remember correctly?!),

like you I am not a native speaker in English, so perhaps I used the term "mainstream" wrongly.
What I meant is that the OP with the Jot Singh Khalsa and a Lil Lum Nishijin certainly does not have the "typical" Spyderco models that get sold in large numbers, like PM2, Delica, Manix and so on.
The latter would be "mainstream", btw. not meant in any negative way (there is a reason for those models being so popular!)

Yes, yes, that's right. Thank.

These are quite rare knife models. Greg has good taste. 👍

No problems. This is not a common word. We may not know the meaning of some words. Or we can give them different meanings. But the most important thing is that in any case, we will understand each other.
